About this listing
The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Parting Glitch Delay Pedal is built for the experimental player-ambient musicians, sound designers, or anyone chasing unexpected textures. Designed in collaboration with harpist Emily Hopkins, this pedal is a curated sound playground for glitch, crushed delay, and ambient wash lovers who want unpredictability in a usable way.At the core of the Parting is a single knob that either crushes your signal or throws it into reverse. Surrounding it are controls for time-smearing reverb, chance-based or envelope-triggered glitch delays, and a flexible modulation section. It's deeply interactive; the way modulation, glitching, and delay randomness respond to each other is where this pedal shines. Add in stereo I/O, MIDI, tap tempo, and extensive routing options, and you've got a serious creative tool for both studio and stage.Despite the depth, it's user-friendly. The soft-touch footswitching, analog dry-through, and expression control make it easy to drop into an existing board without fuss. From a practical standpoint, it's built solid and encourages live use. We've had a blast dialing this one in, and if you're looking for something that'll constantly surprise and inspire, this does that and then some.Like a some of OBNE's other pedals, these come in several colorways. Get yours in either Black, Green, or Purple!Specifications:- Signal Path: Stereo input and output, with mono or mono-in-stereo-out routing- Switching: Aux footswitch for tap tempo, half clock speed, or preset switching; soft touch footswitching- Connectivity: Expression and MIDI control over all parameters, MIDI clock in/out- Bypass: Trails or true bypass, analog dry through- Power: 9V center negative DC powerSku: PARTING-BLK
