Overview
Built as an upgrade to the Coronado I, the Coronado II Bass added binding to the F-holes, block inlays, and a second pickup at the bridge position. The Coroando II Bass used a Maple body and neck and a Rosewood fingerboard. Production on these basses lasted until 1972, as the entire hollowbody Coronado line was phased out.
Years of Production: 1967 - 1972
Finish Specification: The Antigua finish (which was actually devised to conceal burns on the edge of the body incurred in the binding process).
