About this listing
This is a bass with history Attached. It was purchased from NJ in 1994 as evidenced by the attached original receipts. It was also maintained and upgraded by professional techs as indicated the receipts. It will include the original receipt, available service records and case candy. MIJ JB62 foto flame jazz, with 60s style printing on the neck and 60s voiced pickups. Tuners are Schaller And were installed by a tech (reflected in service record). I can’t speak to anything other than what’s documented. Condition is sort of excellent, sort of not. Plays great, sounds great and there is only one small mark of physical damage that I see outside of normal wear of a 30yr old bass. However, as is common with the foto flame basses, there is a fair amount of finish cracks. there doesn’t appear to be any issue with delamination but there are several cracks including a large one along the top horn and body. As anyone familiar with Foto Flame basses, this is common. It’s the result of the film they put on the body and then finish over. Over time, it results in high probability of finish checking/cracking.Regardless, this is a really nice bass with history in the box. Will come in hardcase - option to reduce shipping by omit the hardcase can be discussed.
