A rare bird for sure...never seen one of these.

this one is in need of rescue

pickup covers missing

electronics are scratchy and in need of attention...but they do work, including the push pull pots and whatnot

finish is very worn

seam is just barely splitting at volute area on back of neck

the guitar is very dirty overall, and will need some serious TLC before being ready for the Ball

comes with 70's Les Paul case, which fits it very well (blue lining, shaped, tolex covering)

a little info I found on the web:

The New Mosrite of California, produced for approximately six months in Bakersfield, California, in 1976 by Semie Moseley and Bill Gruggett. Only about a dozen Brass Rail Deluxes exist out of the approximate one hundred Brass Rails produced, and this one is serial number The Deluxe models have several special features, including an engraved numbered bicentennial plate on the back of the body: "Happy Birthday America from the New Mosrite 1776-1976 017." (THE PLATE IS MISSING FROM THIS ONE)  Wired in stereo with both active and passive circuits, each circuit has push/pull on/off/volume controls for each pickup, phase switches for each circuit, as well as a toggle to select between active/passive/both, and master volume and tone controls. Dual outputs for stereo or mono applications. Schaller tuners. Celluloid tortoise shell pickguard and jack plate. Serial number stamped into the brass rail at the end of the fretboard. All original and in overall good condition. Finish wear on the fretboard and the back of the neck (see pics). No repairs, mods, etc. This one is extremely rare in that it has factory original set-screws on the M knobs which I have never seen on any other Brass Rail, most likely a prototypical feature.
