The Denon DCD-1500AE, released in 2005, is an audiophile-targeting high-fidelity CD and SACD player. It features the exceptional “ALPHA Processing” technology, which is an upconverting 24bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). ALPHA Processing takes the 16bit CD signal and converts it algorithmically to a 24bit signal, enhancing the dynamic range of the music. The clock design of this DAC is also superb. Additionally, this unit was built with high-quality capacitors and resistors and employs several measures to reduce vibration. All of these factors allow for the highest possible quality in playback of audio from CDs and SACDs. Like other Denon equipment, the DCD-1500AE is gorgeous in appearance, with an emphasis on luxury.

This unit is in excellent condition, with some signs of age and use, including some scratches and scuffs on the surface (please see photos). Also, there are some solid bits on the surface, which seem to be like candle wax. This player works perfectly and has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. The sound quality is superb, as expected.
