This is a wonderful example of Gibson’s high-line Charlie Christian model in a Tenor 4-string version of that Jazz guitar spec in this fabulous Redish Brown Sunburst finished carved spruce top w/dark walnut stained back, sides & neck made w/beautiful figured maple. Its got a super slim 1 piece neck w/a pronounced V-shape to it that’s incredible. Its got the coolest dot/bound fingerboard that comes to a point at the body. It got a special ordered Charlie Christain pickup made for Tenor having only 4 spaces in width. Its headstock has a script Gibson logo. It still sports its original Banjo type Tuners w/white buttons that hold quite well. Its original bound tortoise;gard is in stunning shape. Lastly its original “arrow” pointer bakelite knobs & its 4 string trapeze tailpiece are in near perfect shape completes this C.C. Tenor guitar. It is in exceptionally clean all original shape & comes w/an original cord (kinda falling apart) in its matching near mint Tweed shaped hard case w/Black & Red striping.
