Product Details
The NUX Ace of Tone is a dual overdrive pedal that condenses two drive circuits with distinct characteristics into a single unit.
Developed by NUX, a company renowned for its diverse range of guitar effects, this model is appealing for its combination of classic overdrive and transparent boost sounds.
It can be used individually, or the two circuits can be layered to create a wide range of distortion, making it a versatile pedal suitable for everything from blues to rock.
This model features two channels: SCREAMER, based on a TS-style overdrive, and BLUES, characterized by its transparent drive sound.
Each channel has independent GAIN, TONE, and LEVEL controls, allowing for individual adjustment of distortion depth, tone, and output volume.
Each channel can be used independently, or they can be activated simultaneously to layer distortion.
Furthermore, it features a function to switch the connection order, offering a flexible configuration that allows you to pursue different sounds by combining the two drive circuits.
The sound is characterized by its ability to switch between a smooth overdrive with a thick midrange and a natural drive sound that preserves the guitar's original contours.
SCREAMER delivers a rich midrange and moderately compressed distortion, making it ideal for blues and rock lead playing.
On the other hand, BLUES offers an open, nuanced drive that enhances picking dynamics.
Combining the two allows for a powerful sound with increased distortion thickness and sustain, enabling a wide range of expression to suit your playing style.
This pedal, offering the appeal of two different overdrives in one unit, is recommended for guitarists who are particular about the texture of their distortion.
It flexibly handles everything from light crunch to powerful lead sounds, allowing for diverse expressions depending on the amplifier and guitar combination.
It's also attractive for those who want to consolidate multiple drive pedals into a compact setup, enriching your pedalboard's distortion options.
Don't miss this opportunity to purchase it!
