The Mutable Instruments Edges is a Quad 'Chiptune' Generator aimed at providing clinically precise digital waveforms and harsh digital logic. Each of the four voices contains voltage control over pitch and a gate on/off input making it a great beginning and end of signal chain. Channels 1-3 offer pulse width control as well as frequency modulation between the 3. the fourth channel generates low-fidelity waveforms including sine, triangle, and NES variants of digital noise. This is the opposite of the classic 'warm' analog sound.
