About this listing
The Fender Player Jazz Bass is a versatile Mexican-made bass built around the classic Jazz Bass formula, with a comfortable modern neck feel and a pair of articulate Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups.
Finished in Polar White with a maple fingerboard, this example has a clean, classic Fender look and a broad tonal range suitable for everything from funk and soul to rock, pop, indie and studio work.
This pre-owned bass is in Good Condition, weighs an actual 8.88 lbs and is supplied without a case.
Classic Jazz Bass Tone
The dual-pickup layout gives you plenty of tonal flexibility.
Neck pickup for fuller, warmer tones
Bridge pickup for tighter mids and extra definition
Both pickups blended for the classic balanced Jazz Bass sound
Independent Volume controls for each pickup make it easy to fine-tune the blend, with a Master Tone control for overall brightness.
Comfortable Player Series Feel
The maple neck features Fender’s Modern “C” profile, paired with a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 20 medium-jumbo frets.
Combined with the traditional 34" scale length, it gives the bass a familiar full-scale response with an accessible, modern playing feel.
Player Series Alnico 5 Pickups
The pair of Player Series Alnico 5 Jazz Bass pickups deliver clear, articulate passive tones with plenty of definition.
They work equally well for fingerstyle, pick playing and slap, making this a strong all-round bass for live and studio use.
