About this listing
Collings guitars excel in playability, build quality, and sound, and this stunning I30LC, featuring a "medium aged" Natural finish and figured maple, adds a spectacular aesthetic to the mix. With the I30LC, Collings set out to build upon the concept of a double-cutaway hollow-body guitar equipped with P90 pickups, refining every element to create a unique, entirely new playing experience. The result is one of the most acoustically responsive and versatile electric guitars ever crafted by Collings. The lightweight body incorporates "trestle" bracing, a design developed through extensive R&D and the expertise gained from the popular I35 and Statesman LC models. The "non-grained" ivoroid binding on the body and neck complements the figured maple beautifully. The Lollar Dog Ear P90 pickups are perfectly matched to the instrument’s acoustic response, offering a broad tonal palette, from rich, jazzy warmth to the 1960s "British Invasion" sound. It is a stately, robust, and understated guitar that possesses a truly authentic vintage hollow-body character. This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.photos of: Actual Instrument
