This stunning Pearl CZX kit, also known as Custom Z, is a top-tier professional drum set crafted in Japan between 1989 and 1994 – a golden era for Pearl manufacturing. Finished in the ultra-rare Champagne Birdseye lacquer, exclusive to this series, these drums are built from the finest 100% maple, featuring 10-ply, 8mm toms and 10-ply, 12.5mm floor tom and bass drum.

Every detail screams quality – from the SuperHoop rims and brass lug nuts to the Uni-Lock tom arms with memory locks and SP30 bass drum legs with adjustable rubber/spike feet. All parts are 100% original and in excellent condition.

• Fitted with brand new Remo heads:
• • Toms: Remo Pinstripe Clear (top) / Remo Diplomat Clear (resonant)
  • Bass Drum: Remo CS White Dot (batter) / Remo Emperor Clear (resonant)
  • Front head features a 5.5" hole with reinforcement ring and Pearl logo.

Condition

The set is in exceptionally well-maintained condition, with only minor signs of use:

• A few small notches in the clear lacquer.
• Normal wear on the bass drum hoops from claws.
• Some pitting on chrome lugs.

This is a restored, collector-grade kit that retains all original parts – a rare find for serious players and collectors alike.
