Built in 2003 by master luthier Ren Ferguson in Montana, this is one of the loudest and richest-sounding acoustic guitars we've ever heard.
An absolute cannon!
This guitar has Brazilian Rosewood back, sides, fretboard and bridge. The nut, saddle and bridge pins are made from bone. The neck carve is a soft V with a good solid thickness but not overly so, it's still very fast and playable.
The condition is very good with only a few bits of normal visible wear. I've provided pictures of a few pick marks and small bits of finish weather checking by the bridge. These issues are in the lacquer only and do not affect the structure of the guitar what so ever according to my Luthier.
1 7/8" nut - nice and wide with lots of space for fingerstyle. Also great for strumming and Bluegrass however.Have a look at the linked video for a sample of me playing a bit of blues fingerstyle on this very guitar!
Structurally the guitar is perfect and it's set up perfectly as well. Plays like a dream. Original hardcase is included, which has an issue whereby the combination latch will not stay shut, but otherwise, it's in good shape. There are no modifications or issues, completely original. The nicest condition example of this rare guitar on the market.
Bought from Rumble Seat Music in Carmel, CA 2 years ago and played rarely since. Always stored in a climate controlled environment, proper humidity, etc. Amazing guitar!| Listed | 9 years ago |
