Peavey G Bass Guitar - Fully Restored A1 Example

Hello, and welcome to my listing for this awesome late 90s Peavey G Bass that's had extensive restoration.

I picked up this bass a few years go and whilst it was in functionally solid condition, it wasn't so good visually. Due to my love of G Bass' I really wanted to get this back to its best version of itself, so I undertook the following steps:

• Full body refinish by T Dog Customs in holographic purple sparkle: This is absolutely unreal seen in person, and is designed to be as close as possible to the original holographic finishes in a slightly different colour!
• Gotoh GB350 tuners: About the lightest tuners you can buy on the market
• Schaller 2000 bridge: The original was not in great condition, and this is adjustable in about every direction (string spacing, height, intonation)
• Full fret level: Bass has worn flatwounds since, and are in 95% condition
  
  

This bass is an absolute beast. It weighs about 7lbs (probably a little lower than that but I don't have accurate enough scales at home to weigh such a light bass!). Due to the Peavey VFL pickup and Peavey Cirrus 18V preamp, the sound is thunderous; think of a cross between a Music Man and a Precision Bass. Finally, due to the incredibly slim carbon fibre neck and fantastic balance due to the GB350 tuners, it is an insanely enjoyable and easy bass to play.

In terms of overall condition, there are some really light marks around the top of the headstock which were too hard to photograph. There is also a slight piece of lacquer peel around the bottom of the E string tuner (a casualty of when the tuners were replaced). Apart from those marks, the overall bass is in exceptional condition.
