Beyerdynamic M54 dynamic hypercardioid clip-on mic (2 of 3)
Pretty rare bird from the 1980s.
Predecessor of the TG I57, which has a condenser capsule instead.
The M54 has a "gentle" sounding frequency response.
No sub-bass, no hyped top end.
Ideal for the intended applications (brass, percussion).
Rarely issues with bleed or feedback, thanks to the hypercardioid response pattern.
The mic is in full working order and also mechanically in sound condition.
It comes with its original Beyerdynamic pouch.
