The Technics SL-01, released in Japan in 1980 during the Japanese “Golden Era” of high-fidelity audio equipment, is a highly-regarded turntable from a company with a tremendous reputation for quality. This turntable features a static balance universal S tonearm on a gimbal suspension system, providing highly precise and silent arm movement. The platter is driven by a brushless DC motor in a direct-drive configuration, with rotational speed accurately controlled via a quartz PLL circuit. It has a wow and flutter spec of 0.025% WRMS (JIS C 5521). Beside the SL-01’s exceptional sound, the build quality of the turntable is great. Don’t miss this vintage Japanese HiFi turntable!

This turntable is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use (see pictures), including some scratches and spots on the body and dust cover (please see dust cover policy). It has been tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. All settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is stable.
