Nord Stage (1?) Compact first appeared in 2005 (-2008). It caused huge interest amongst musicians. At last, here is a keyboard that combines quality piano/organ & synth sounds, that is reliable and tucks under your arm (9.7Kg). The model has evolved into the Stage 3 in 2021, selling around £2650 (GBP).
This particular synth (s/n SC11147) has just come back from pro service by Sound Technology, the UK distributors and service centre of Clavia/Nord (Sweden). Final software rev 5.08 has been installed; so it is as up to date as tomorrow will be, yesterday...... KKGB will give 3 months full guarantee, as we are so confident of the quality of the service. Condition has to be "used", as per photos.....only dinks of any note are on the end cheek rims, plus the inevitable stand "rash" on the undercase. The important bits are 1) controls/switches & 2) the actual keys <> they are nigh perfect (not bad after 14 years).
Here are the basic specs:- 73 note ( F<>F) with velocity & aftertouch semi-weighted keys.
Organ:- fully polyphonic ~ sampled from B3/Farfisa/VOX 21 patches with great Leslie simulation, "tube" distortion. Digital drawbars to customise any patch + key click/splits/percussion etc
Piano:- 40 - 60 polyphony. 10 patches of grand/upright/EP200A/Rhodes & Clavinet.
Synth:- 300 patches of lead/pad/synth ~ analogue/FM & waveforms. All tweakable with filter/resonance & envelopes. 16-voice polyphonic.
FX:- loads + compressor. MIDI/USB stuff. Mother keyboard capabilities. Huge combinations possible of any of the 3 master groups, with dual/splits, and all can be stored as performances. Plus much more.....runs @ 220Vac using "figure-of-8" detachable mains cord (no silly wall wart).
Priced @ only £1350, with a flightcase & free UK mainland delivery (including Northern Ireland), this rare instrument is a versatile stage diamond! Selling via HMRC VAT margin scheme, this means that no VAT can be reclaimed by registered entities. Export price is £1250. Local taxes/duties will be charged by customs/shippers prior to delivery to overseas customers, which now includes all EU countries, as UK has left the club.
