Plug the quarter inch end of the special active buffer cable into the guitar, and the XLR end into a tie panel that feeds another room, or just extend the purple cable with a standard mic cable. This XLR line then feeds the XLR input of the receiver box, which lives close to your amplifier and transparently ports your signal into your amp from one of two outputs.
