Overview
The Kramer Pacer Special is an early single-humbucker Pacer, similar in basic concept to the Pacer Standard but equipped with a locking tremolo system. It typically uses one humbucker, one volume, one tone, and a three-way selector or phase-style switch, with headstock style changing across the early production years. The easiest way to distinguish it from the Pacer Standard is the locking tremolo, while the single-humbucker layout separates it from the HH Imperial, HH Carrera, and HSS Deluxe or Custom models.
