The Boss RC-600 is probably the most advanced looper far and wide. The successor to the popular BOSS RC-300 Loopstation comes with some interesting new features and functions. Several microphones and instruments can be recorded on six stereo tracks. Two XLR microphone inputs with phantom power, two stereo line-ins and three assignable stereo line-outs are available for this purpose. And the whole thing is now 32-bit. Nine freely assignable footswitches and three pedal modes allow very flexible onboard control. The integrated effects section offers 49 input FX and 53 track FX types. Time-based effects can be automatically synchronised with rhythms and loop tempo. A total of 99 memory locations with 6 tracks each are available. The RC-600 also has 200 rhythm patterns and 16 drum kits. There are two controller connections for external footswitches or expression pedals. The USB port is used for data backup, but can also be used for import/export with BOSS Tone Studio and the RC Rhythm Converter.
