The Sonor D454 14"x5" snare drum is a legendary vintage model, best known for the following features:
- Ferromanganese Shell: This snare features a Ferromanganese shell, delivering a rich, warm tone with plenty of presence and a crisp, musical crack.
- Vintage '70s or early '80s model: Often equipped with Sonor’s classic Phonic hardware, known for its durability and distinctive design.
- Classic Sound: Frequently compared to the Ludwig Supraphonic or Black Beauty, but with its own unique character — slightly drier, with a punchier midrange response.

Damage – please see the last two pictures:
A small area of chrome has flaked off on the inside of the shell.
There is a minor dent on the batter side hoop — barely noticeable and purely cosmetic.
