A 1942 Supertone made by Harmony Singing Cowboys Guitar with original case.

What a great guitar. These Cowboy guitars were made by Harmony as evidenced by the Indento Harmony Wood Tailpiece, wood bridge, wood nut, and Waverly open back tuners. They were the same as Harmony's of the War Time days. These Supertone guitars were made to by sold by Sears in their catalogs from 1938 thru 1943...This one is properly identified as a 1942 from the date stamp of F42 in the sound hole as its Gun Metal Gray. They switched from Gun Metal Gray to Black in 1943...

This is not a reproduction. This model of guitar has been repro'd even in the last few years by Asian Imports. That just speaks to the timeless draw this Singing Cowboy Guitar Scene has.

The guitar is in fantastic shape. We didn't have to fix any cracks or breaks. Jeff the Tech set it up with awesome low playing action. The only non-original part is one tuner button that was replaced some time ago. It is also very old. The original buttons will have to be replaced at some point. They are very brittle but still operate properly so I can't bring myself to break them off. I'll let the new owner decide that.

The original case is in as fine of shape as the guitar. Very clean with the hinges, latches, and leather handle still working and present after all these years.

I have been refurbishing these older Cowboy Guitars for a few years now. They bring me great pleasure to have them and even greater pleasure to deliver them to grateful new owners. I have been selling a lot of these and my customers are always pleased with them. History that can still be comfortably played. What an awesome guitar!

This guitar and case set is great but sold as-is no returns given its old and vintage. However, check my feedbacks..I have been hand-picking amps and guitars for my customers for over 14 years now and my customers love my vintage stock. This one will not be an exception.
