Turtle shell ukulele. I made this beautiful ukulele with the shell of a red eared slider (not endangered species), sides and front with Bocote wood that is hand rubbed with a slight gloss, and a neck made of red oak. Tailpiece is made of black limba wood with a rosewood floating bridge for fine tuning adjustment. 17" scale length. Tuned to standard GCEA with nylon strings to give it a crystal clear sound.
