Pick ups were just swapped out of a 75th anniversary Precision Bass,(MIM), and are in amazing shape. Pick ups were swapped due to customer request for SD QPBP, for a more aggressive tone.
These pick ups are based off of, and directly recreate the sound of the Vintage-style '50s Precision Bass pickups, known for providing punchy low-end, and cutting mids. When you think of that “P-Bass Sound”, these are the culprit!
Please note ; the hot line on these had to be trimmed a bit short due to damage to the wire within the body cavity. (Someone repotted a volume knob and was NOT careful with solder! We didn’t want to send the pick ups out to the new owner with that melted on, so we trimmed accordingly ! )
