Great Yamaha electric guitar, AES-800 high end model from 1997.
Quiet a rare model produced only for few years.
Yamaha always made incredibly quality product and this is not exception.
The body is alder with a mahogany top.
The pickups are fantastic sounding DiMarzio Q100 (like P90's but without the hum problem).
It has a 5 way selector, that gives a lot of sounds:
1 neck
2 neck+bridge out of phase (with a dedicated shaping knob)
3 neck+bridge
4 bridge (series)
5 bridge (parallel)
The guitar is a pleasure to play and can cover many music styles.
