Presenting a vintage Guild M-75 Bluesbird guitar. I am assuming it is from 1975.
The serial number is 753709. I have included a pic of the serial number before the clean up. The previous owner had scratched over it.
This is a total solid body guitar with a beautiful tone.
As you may be aware these guitars came with a very flimsy nitro finish which is easily rubbed off.
This guitar's neck had all of the nitro layer almost peeled off and to preserve the guitar wood / only the back of the neck area was resprayed. There is a faint serial number present and it is the authentic one.
The electronics have been serviced and wired as in the original with the phase switching. The easily lost and rare toggle switch is on the guitar. One pot knob is an original newer one.
The guitar is in its original hard case.
I must say that the back of the neck had paint cracks and when sanded down and cleaned they were found to be superficial. The action and tone are pretty cool. I ship by UPS and you will get this guitar within 10 days. I have marked the knocks and bruises and that's all to them... nothing major or life threatening. The binding was also repaired. The guitar has been serviced and setup.
Remember this is a vintage instrument. Please dont expect a brand new piece.
