Like new condition ! Conrad Johnson Premier 11A pure tube amplifier. It provides 75 watts of pure tube amplification. This amplifier can drive pretty much any speaker you may throw at it, and sounds dynamic, warm and detailed with a natural lifelike presentation, Along with deep tonally accurate Bass reproduction!
This Gem was just serviced and upgraded by Avatar Engineering, The service included 6550C power tubes (Approx. 400 hrs on them) along with NOS 5771 AND 6FQ7 tubes.The power diodes were replaced with ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers. New Audio grade electrolytic capacitors, ultra quiet precision 1% resistors were added in key areas for smoothness and better resolution. Included also (If sold at asking price!) are 4 NOS 6550 Winged C ($450) tubes.
The amplifier sounded very good before the service and upgrade! However afterwards the performance is stunning, a true reference piece that can compete with anything out there under $6000!
