## Why the P-2?
The Pete Cornish P-2™ is one of the most respected boutique distortion pedals ever made. It is famously used by **David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)** and **Paul McCartney**, and was awarded the **Editor’s Pick Award by Guitar Player Magazine**, which described it as delivering *“extremely fat, smooth, and harmonically rich distortion tones… extraordinary responsiveness to playing dynamics… insane amounts of gain. Astonishing.”*
Key features:
- **Hand-built** entirely in England — not a production line pedal
- **RFI-rejecting input buffer** — eliminates radio interference, works flawlessly with long cable runs
- **Unity gain bypass buffer** — no tone loss or ghost distortion in bypass
- Exceptionally **low noise floor**
- **Infinite sustain** with outstanding single-note definition within chords
- Cleans up beautifully with guitar volume adjustments
This is the **Grey Series** — the original, standard production version, built to the same spec as the pedals on Gilmour’s legendary pedalboards.
