Overview
Though not as popular or sought as Martin's 18 and 28 Series, the Martin 00-17 Orchestra acoustic guitars particularly from before World War II are considered highly collectible. Sporting a mahogany back and sides as well as a mahogany top, which diverged from the typical spruce used for 18 style guitars, the 00-17 is an impressively old guitar -- first produced in 1906, in fact.
