As usual, this electro-acoustic round-shoulder dreadnought impresses with its exquisite tonewoods in a solid-body construction, comfortable playability and a professional pickup from L. R. Baggs. Combined with its traditional design, the acoustic-electric guitar is perfect for both live performances and studio recordings, where it delivers a flawless performance every time. The instrument is complemented by a practical premium gig bag included in the package, which ensures safe transport and storage.Solid-wood bodyThe guitar owes its powerful sound to its solid Sitka spruce top, as well as its solid mahoganyback and sides, which produce a balanced tone alongside a high volume. The result of this popular tonewood combination is a blend of brilliant trebles and warm mids, making this model a true all-rounder. Furthermore, the top features scalloped X-bracing, which further enhances the assertive sound thanks to its flat-sanded ribs.Short scale lengthThe Gibson J-45 Special Satin Natural owes its high level of playing comfort partly to its gentle round-shoulder shape and partly to its shortened scale length of 628.65 mm. This results in lower string tension, which requires less force when fretting and therefore makes even complex fingerings exceptionally comfortable. Furthermore, the guitar neck features an ergonomic Slim-Taper neck profile that sits superbly in the hand, whilst tuning-stable Grover Rotomatic tuners guarantee precise intonation.Pickup with volume controlMeanwhile, the L. R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup ensures professional amplification of the acoustic guitar. The system impresses with its authentic and detailed sound reproduction, which perfectly captures every nuance. There is also a discreet volume control in the soundhole, allowing you to adjust the volume to your preference. This means the sound can be perfectly adapted to a wide range of environments, ensuring the instrument retains its sonic expressiveness at all times.
