Rare 1970s Stramp MP16 console
An exceedingly rare beast.
Stramp out of Hamburg were renowned for their top tier guitar amps but they also made a few consoles, before they were later bought up by Dynacord.
According to their price list from 1973 this MP16 was their most expensive item, priced at 10,000 DM.
That's around € 20k in today's money.
It'a 16 into 4.
Fully transformer balanced.
Almost no electrolytic capacitors in the signal path.
VUs for everything.
Unfortunately the internal wiring has been altered and is a mess, see the detailed pics.
Also the console has no built-in PSU, just a power cable terminated to XLR.
It probably runs with 24V DC but I'm not sure.
My loss is your gain.
Due to the excessive size and weight I'll only ship within the EU.
