Ampeg Venture VB-88 800 Watt Bass Cabinet

The Ampeg Venture VB-88 is a front ported bass cabinet that can handle 800 watts RMS/1600 watts program power at 4Ω and weighs in at a modest 30 kgs (67 lbs). With classic Ampeg durability, the cab is covered in a durable carbon-fiber style Tolex and loaded with custom voiced 8" Lavoce Neodymium woofers and a variable high frequency driver. Use it on it's own or double up and add a V12 to summon Thor himself.

• Powerful EQ Section Tone-shaping tools include a 3-Band EQ section with Sweepable Mid Circuit and Ultra Hi and 3-way Ultra Lo switches.
• SGT Overdrive Section Switches between tube-like Ampeg SVT or legendary B15 tone while also controlling the "grit" and overall level.
• Balanced XLR Line Out Send your tailored sound to a front-of-house or recording console, pre- or post-EQ. Ground Lift and 0/-20dB switch included.
• Additional Controls Mute: Silences the output to the speakers and Line Out. Mute can be accessed remotely via the optional Ampeg® AFS2 Footswitch. The SGT On/Off switch is disabled when a footswitch is connected to the Switch jack.
• Additional I/O Use the 3.5mm Aux input to connect external audio devices, enabling you to play along with your music. The Phones output provides a silent practice option.
• Class D Power The Class-D power amp results in a lighter power section because no heavy transformers, power supplies, or heat sinks are required.
• Variable High-Frequency Attenuator Adjusts the high-frequency level coming from the horn.
