Moollon Stratocaster S-Classic Purple Sparkle Matching Headstock from 2015.
Extremely rare and collectable. This particular Moollon was one of the first ever. There are just a few wordwide with Purple Sparkle matching headstock, probably less than 10.
Waiting list to build custom order was more than 3 years.
Moollon discontinued all sparkle finishes few years ago because of the long building process.
This Moollon was entirely handcrafted by one person: masterbuilder Young Joon Park.
Moollon handwound pickups (YJP pencil signed), alder body (neckpocket signed by YJP), frets like new, bone nut, macassar ebony fingerboard, neck handsigned by YJP, custom upgraded Gotoh tuners, clay dots, 5-way selector, stunning hard maple quarter-sawn neck, 60's style headstock, Moollon bridge, Moollon silver logo, custom black pickguard, knobs and pickup covers.
Neck is hand-shaped by YJP himself.. feels like a Gibson LP '58/'59 profile neck - just perfect.
Such a gem.. reason for sale is that I have a second Moollon purple sparkle.
