Homemade DIY vinyl record lathe cutting machine built in 2021.

In 100% working condition, Mostly made of strong 3D printed plastic and metal parts.

Comes with controller box to adjust cutting speed, start/stop record, and rewind/forward of the cutting head,

VU meter built in as well to show recording levels.

Warning: this item altough a fully functional lathe, these kinds of machines are a rabbit hole on their own,

you will have to learn about stuff like mastering for vinyl, IRIAA EQ curves etc.

It needs an PA amplifier to power the cutting head, i can include the amplifier i used with the lathe with this item.

Works with Grampian Style cutting stylusses, available from multiple sources ( embossing or cutting )

currently it has a diamond cutting shank (Diamond stylus 362 S) from myshank.com worth 240 euros,

which has become a bit blunt so needs a resharpening ( available as service from myshank.com ).

Also works with cheaper embossing style stylus from

( again u either need to go down the rabbithole of how cutting lathes work and the differences between embossing versus cutting)

A few blank 12" black vinyl disks will be provided also sourced from the same company myshank.com

these are not acetate but actual vinyl plastic so they will last.

It goes ontop of a turntable, which will need to have proper amount of torque ( 3-5kg ) some

recommended models are Numark TTX, or sync XTRM-1 (new) which still go for fairly cheap prices.

Ideally u would have a vacuum system to suck up the plastic when cutting ( not needed with embossing )

this could be easily built yourself or looked online for options.

Only serious buyers, vinyl cutting lathes are hard to come by u will either find a rare vintage one that is so broken and missing parts it will take you years to repair it with good knowledge ( and the recording quality wont even be great in the end) or the other options are vinylrecorder.com T560 which as of this day does not really sell his machine to new customers and they go for prices around 10,000-20,000 on the second hand market.

dont even think about buying a neumann unless your a millionaire ;)

Feel free to message me for videos of it in use and extra information ( but only when serious about buying)
