Vintage guitar by Canadian luthier Fritz Mueller No 29 - 1987. Indian rosewood back and sides and spruce top, French polish finish, Landstorfer tuning machines (handcrafted in Germany). This is a guitar that has a deep sound, both round and warm, and a medium volume.
The instrument has undergone the following repairs made by a professional luthier:
-The fingerboard has been redone to correct an unnecessary transformation made by an amateur.
-The back of the instrument, made in three pieces, underwent an intervention to better glue one of the three parts of the assembly. This is a minor sticking repair.
-A wooden block has been inserted in the heel to stabilize a microcrack. This is a preventive intervention, because the crack is almost imperceptible to the naked eye.
-Several tuning machine buttons have been re-glued to solidify them.
They are therefore perfectly functional. Besides some traces of play, the instrument is in very good structural condition with no cracks or repairs on the top or on the sides. The instrument is delivered with its original hard case.
