By the late 1950s, the Telecaster had firmly established its reputation as 'the workhorse', but for the player seeking a guitar with the versatility of a Tele and a more outspoken personality, there were still few choices. Then came the Telecaster Custom, which debuted in 1959, with an elegant double-bound body and rosewood fingerboard; both firsts for the Telecaster.
This 60 Telecaster Custom certainly has a more outspoken personality thanks to the relicted Shell Pink finish! The look is perfectly complemented by a white binding and pickguard.
It also features a fantastic combination of the Custom Shop hand-wound '63 Telecaster pickup in the neck and Twisted Tele pickup in the bridge position. This pickup combination offers more than enough warmth and bite.
Includes a hardshell case with certificate of authenticity.
