Lavry AD11 Analogue to Digital Converter & Microphone preamplifier MODIFIED.
This is a very rare Lavry AD11 in that has been fully upgraded and modified. The PSU of the unit has been reworked with TRACO medical grade isolated DC to DC converters - this allows the unit to operate from 5v. It can run on the included power bank for over 7 hours. This opens up a whole new world of super high quality mobile recording. A mains adapter power supply is also included for studio use.
The PSU modification takes the sonic quality of the unit to a whole new level for use in the studio too - the unit performs better than originally when it was powered by an average quality mains SMPS.
Further modifications were performed at the same time - 5532 and 5534 op amps were upgraded with OPA1612 and OPA1611. Also the regulators were replaced with new ultra low noise types.
The modifications together with the famous Lavry Soft Saturation mode make this a truly mastering grade converter with mic pre that can operate anywhere.
Operationally perfect working condition - cosmetically there are quite a few marks and scratches (the camera doesn't show them well). Overall good cosmetic condition though.
Shipping is with insured express courier.
