Up for grabs! A highly collectable Wandre Rockbass made in 1962 in very good condition. All parts are working 100% and the bass is fully operational.
Professional restoration was done by Wouter Eblé in close collaboration with Marco Ballestri, the author of the book about Wandre:
The bass was built by the legendary builder and artist Wandre in the early sixties in Italy. He made incredible designs and used very special techniques, like an aluminum neck. Lightweight and strong. And the design is outstanding. The sound is a bit like an old Hofner bass from the same era. Very dark and deep and profound. Playability is easy. This bass is featured on a song on the record 'Even weg' by legendary Dutch artist Boudewijn de Groot and The Dutch Eagles.
