THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL VOX UL730.
This is a brand new, UK made clone of the famous 1966 UL730 as used on Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles. The larger 7120 was used on Revolver. They had the same pre-amp as the 730 but a more powerful power amp.
All effects work. Distortion, tremolo and reverb via the three position footswitch included with the amp.
The preamp is virtually identical to the original, with a couple of tweaks to the reverb and trem circuits. The reverb on the originals was a badly designed , twin record player cartridge affair which lacks the depth of effect that the Accutronics tank in this one offers.
The tremolo on the originals was a normal bulb. That's been replaced on these with an LED for faster and deeper response.
If you want to sound like Revolver, this is exactly the amp for you.
Power source is 240v so if you live in a country with say, 120v , you'd need a step up transformer.
Why pay Megabucks for a half functioning original when you can have this at a fraction of the price?
