This bass is 100% custom-built & assembled. It is built to the exact specs of the Washburn M-10 basses that were used on tour by the late Peter Steele of Type O Negative & Carnivore. This piece is #11 of 13 "Alpha" basses that I have built in his honor since his passing nearly a decade ago. These Washburn M-10's were only produced by the Washburn Custom Shop for 2 years (01' - 03') making the originals very difficult to find. Due to their low production numbers, very few come to market. This bass is an identical replica complete with all of Peter Steele's modifications. Maple body & neck with rosewood fret board, Grover tuners, S.D. SMB4D p.u. at the bridge. Original Leo Quan Badass 1 bridge. Volume knob & toggle on/off switch. Custom vinyl fret markers on back of neck. High-strength, industrial grade black (satin) & red finish. Bass is available with a custom-built Maxline flight case which will add $475 to the price if you choose to purchase (*this bass will not fit in most aftermarket cases due to its length).
