Istanbul 14" Sultan Hi-Hat – Mehmet & Agop Pre-SplitHandcrafted Turkish Cymbals | Vintage 1980s–1996 Era

The Istanbul 14" Sultan Hi-Hats (Mehmet & Agop) are highly sought-after handmade cymbals from the legendary pre-split era, known for their organic sound, complex character, and traditional Turkish craftsmanship.

Produced during the 1980s to 1996, these hi-hats represent a golden period of Istanbul cymbal making, directly connected to the historic K Zildjian tradition in Istanbul.

Each pair features hand-hammered construction with unique sonic variations, offering a dark, musical, and earthy tone that responds beautifully to dynamic playing.

The Sultan series is designed with a combination of lathed and raw surfaces, creating a drier, more controlled sound compared to traditional bright cymbals, making them ideal for studio and expressive live performance.
