And this one is something you simply don’t come across very often anymore:

The PCY150S was Yamaha’s professional 15-inch 3-zone electronic cymbal pad, designed to provide a much more realistic cymbal playing experience than a conventional electronic drum pad.

Three separate playing zones allow bell, bow and edge triggering, while the edge can also be grabbed after striking for a natural cymbal choke.

Yamaha designed the PCY150S to reproduce the playing feel and stick rebound of an acoustic cymbal as closely as possible — making it an excellent expansion or replacement pad for compatible Yamaha DTX systems.

And Yamaha has since discontinued the PCY150S.

What makes this particular example special is its condition. This isn’t a clean second-hand example or a restored electronic drum pad.

It is an unused PCY150S that has been sitting untouched in our warehouse in its original closed Yamaha box.

You can even still see the original Piens MusicPlanet €198 price label on the packaging — a little piece of our musical-instrument history.

For the Yamaha DTX enthusiast, studio owner, collector, or drummer looking for an original PCY150S in a condition that is becoming extremely difficult to find.
