Mu-Tron

Mu-Tron, short for Musitronics, hails from the '70s, bringing all the funky psychedelic phasing, flanging, and octave effects of the decade with it. Founded in '72, Mu-Tron aimed at bringing players filtering effects utilizing synthesizer components, giving musicians ultra high-quality pedals to play with. And the legacy of Mu-Tron's high-quality effects has lasted decades; the famous Mu-Tron Bi-Phase appears heavily on Smashing Pumpkins' Siamese Dream, and the Mu-Tron III envelope filter is an essential for tons of funk musicians to this day, making appearances on records by artists ranging from Jerry Garcia to Stevie Wonder.
