About this listing
Pearl 14x5 Brass Free Floating Snare Drum – Pure Tonal Clarity
The Pearl 14x5 Brass Free Floating Snare Drum delivers uncompromised tonal purity through innovative free-floating lug design. The 1mm polished brass shell vibrates freely without hardware interference, producing a bright, cutting attack paired with warm, resonant overtones. This construction method allows the drum to respond authentically to each player's unique touch, making it an ideal choice for drummers seeking maximum shell resonance and balanced frequency response across all tuning ranges.
Pearl's die-cast free-floating chassis isolates the shell from lug contact, eliminating dampening and allowing the brass to project its full sonic character. Whether you're tracking in the studio or performing live, this snare maintains consistent tone and sustain without sacrificing tuning stability. The combination of premium brass construction and professional-grade hardware ensures durability while preserving the drum's natural voice.
