The ten microphone preamps with -114 dB THD+N and 118 dB dynamic range enable studio-quality recordings, while the Hi-Z inputs also capture guitar or bass signals without loss.The preamps can be controlled digitally via a computer or iOS device. External compressors or EQs can be integrated directly via the analogue insert paths on channels 1 and 2 - perfect for hybrid setups that combine analogue characteristics with digital precision. Modern connectivity for any production environmentThanks to Thunderbolt 4 and USB4, the MOTU 10pre is universally compatible with Mac, PC, iOS and iPadOS. It automatically detects the fastest connection speed - up to 40 Gbps - and is fully backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB3 and USB2. 256 audio channels are available in total, 128 inputs and 128 outputs, with sample rates up to 192 kHz.Several MOTU interfaces can be connected to each other via AVB network connections. Up to eight devices can be interconnected via standard network cables with extremely low latency. The result is a scalable audio system that works stably even in large studio or broadcast environments. Professional monitoring and mixingThe 10pre offers complete control over monitoring setups - from Stereo to 7.1. Up to eight analog outputs can be controlled together via the Monitor Group, while A/B/C speaker switching and an integrated talkback switch ensure convenient studio workflows.The integrated 64-channel mixer works with 32-bit floating point processing and offers high-quality sound processing directly in the device.
