Selling my Line 6 James Tyler Variax JTV-59 as my setup has changed and I’m no longer using Variax functionality.This is a fully working player-grade JTV-59 in Tobacco Sunburst with upgraded stainless steel frets and a recent professional setup/fret dress by a guitar tech.The guitar plays very well and all electronics, modelling functions, alternate tunings and magnetic pickups are working correctly.The stainless refret is a major upgrade on these guitars and should last an extremely long time with minimal wear.Cosmetically, the guitar has a number of chips, scratches and signs of use consistent with being gigged and played. I’ve tried to photograph everything clearly. The pickup selector switch has some surface rust/pitting and the bridge piezo saddles show cosmetic wear, but everything functions as it should.These JTV-59s are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially fully functional examples.Included with the guitar is a brand new official Line 6 Variax battery, the original Line 6 battery charger, original manual, and the original Variax USB interface cable for connecting the guitar to a computer. Also comes with the original gig bag case which is very used with some broken handles and front pocket but still usable to transport the guitar.
