Kurzweil K2000R V3 with installed sampling option. This unit also contains the Orchestral ROM (ROM 1) and the Contemporary ROM (ROM 2), a 1 GB hard drive, and the maximum RAM of 64 MB. Built-in floppy drive works fine. Screen is clear but requires a well-lit room to read easily, as most of these old original electroluminescent displays do now (i.e. the backlight is very dim). It is still perfectly usable for everyday functions, but if you plan to use it in a low-light environment or you plan to do extensive on-screen editing of samples, etc., then you'll probably want to upgrade to a bright new LED screen. The battery compartment is corroded and shows low battery voltage (as expected). If you need to save parameters or sequences then don't rely on the battery backed program memory. Instead you should save everything to the hard drive. Of course, this Kurzweil synth comes standard with V.A.S.T. , SCSI, and multiple individual outputs too.
