Up for sale a well preserved Höfner 172 in white vinyl, made in Germany in the late 60s/early 70s and great sounding!Iconic look, two original Höfner pickups that deliver a warm and dynamic tone with a vintage voice that works great for garage rock, surf, beat music, rock and experimenting tones. The original 4-knob control layout is quite hard to find in this model and provides a wide range of tonal options for this beautiful guitar.The neck is comfortable and plays well up and down the fretboard, all the hardware work great with no issues. This example is completely original except for the vibrato spring (replaced with a new one) and one tuning peg.This Höfner 172 cones with a 1990s Fender molded case that fits the instrument perfectly and provides excellent protection for transport and storage.A fantastic light vintage guitar with personality and style, great tone and playability!
