The Heritage Audio 73 DI ONE is a single-channel active direct box (DI) built with the same 73-style Class A topology that Heritage deeply reveres. It features a discrete JFET input stage and a custom 73-DI output transformer, delivering a rich, dynamic direct sound that emphasizes harmonic complexity while maintaining signal integrity. Housed in a rugged extruded aluminum and steel case with recessed connectors, it is built for both studio and live use. It’s optimized for use with passive instruments like guitars and basses, but thanks to its high input headroom, it is also well suited for keyboards, synths, drum machines, and samplers.
