Overview
The 7609 Broadkaster replaced the earlier Bigsby and stop-tailpiece models with a third bridge option: the wrap tailpiece. The 7609 also saw the Broadkaster switch to a more traditional humbucker design, though the Broadkaster's solidbody sibling would retain the original Super'Tron humbuckers until it was discontinued.
