Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Fernandes USA Custom Sustainer model APG-85S with the OG Sustainer system. These are getting harder and harder to find in today's market. Fernandes has a design and development office in Southern California in the 1990's and this was a result of the work done there in LA. Made in Japan. It features the FRT-10 Floyd Rose licensed double locking tremolo system and the full mode sustainer system that everyone is looking for. 25.5" scale, 14" radius, 8.4 lbs. Comes safely packed in the Fernandes branded gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.67", neck depth is .78"-.86" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great slim C profile. Freshly strung with D'Addario XL 10-46 nickel strings and perfect low spec 1.75mm-1.25mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. All the electronics and pickups are original. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
